Heateflex traveled to San Francisco to attend the annual SEMICON West trade show, held in the city’s Moscone Convention Center from July 10 to July 12. The Heateflex booth featured a nearly complete range of the company’s products for semiconductor manufacturing, including the latest model of the Aquarius™ deionized water heater, the Vesper™ heat exchanger, stainless steel gas and fluid heaters, the HC model PFA in-line fluid heater, and frame and grid-style PFA immersion tank heaters.
Heateflex also used the SEMICON West show to premier two brand-new products. The first new offering is an in-line fluid heater with quartz wetted parts for indirect conductive heating. The new heater is designed for low cost of ownership, with no lamps to replace and no cooling air required, and suitable for either vertical or horizontal mounting. The company also showed off a new 316L electropolished stainless steel sanitary-design fluid heater. This heater uses a patented tri-clover sanitary fitting between the heater and the housing to eliminate threads, and is designed with zero dead legs to prevent microbial contamination.
SEMICON West, the semiconductor manufacturing industry’s premier event, traditionally draws visitors from around the world. This year’s show, themed “Beyond Smart”, focused on new manufacturing technologies for increasing yields; new semiconductor applications for the automotive industry; and finally, on the need to attract more students into careers in the semiconductor industry to meet future workforce demands.
