Imtec announced that it has opened it’s own quartz fabrication facility in San Jose. IQS LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Imtec Acculine and was built to help us control the quality and delivery of one of the most critical components used in many of our products, said Paul Mendes, Imtec’s President. Most people do not realize the skill and craftsmanship required to weld quartz and the number of companies doing this work has decreased in the last few years. Having our own fabrication facility helps us to control the delivery and quality of the products as well as the costs.
