Nison Custom Designed Replacement Quartz In-line Heater
Imtec today fabricated its 30th unit of a specially configured inline heater designed to easily integrate into a Nison Hot Phos chemical module. This replaces a heater that is often difficult and expensive to acquire.
Mark West of Imtec said “In today’s competitive manufacturing environment, extending the life of equipment, and reducing repair cost is critically important. In many cases, tools have to be scrapped or modified because a critical component is no longer available. Imtec has the ability to adapt its technology to work in many different systems and because we are vertically integrated, we can do that with minimal cost and lead time impact.”
By integrating different temperature sensors and creating a special mounting bracket, Imtec was able to supply a product that required almost no modification to the equipment. This allowed the user to be up and running in less time and the heater has proven to be more reliable than the original.
